Still accepting program proposals for 2013
The New Jersey Science Convention is the best professional development opportunity in the Mid-Atlantic area for science educators, including teachers, administrators, and student interns. This two-day convention allows more teachers to attend at least one day of activities without burdening the school districts with excessive absence. Each day has up to one hundred sessions of interest to all levels and disciplines in science, as well as over seventy-five vendors of science books, supplies, and equipment.

Travel Waiver: We are pleased to announce that New Jersey Department of Education has approved a waiver regarding overnight travel to the 2013 Convention.  School districts and charter schools will be able to reimburse attendees for overnight lodging on October 15, 2013.  Other reimbursements may also be eligible.  For complete details, view the letter from Commissioner Cerf.
