Bringing 21st Century Science Skills to the Classroom

The 43nd annual Convention will be held
|
The New Jersey Science Convention is the best professional development opportunity in the Mid-Atlantic area for science educators, including teachers, administrators, and student interns.
This two-day Convention allows more teachers to attend at least one day of activities without burdening the school districts with excessive absence. Each day has over seventy-five sessions of interest to all levels and disciplines in science, as well as over fifty-five vendors of science books, supplies, and equipment.

This has been, and continues to be, the absolutely best PD opportunity that exists for science teachers. As a department chair who also teaches classes, there as so many things to see and learn about at the NJSC! The exhibit hall and the banquet were fantastic as well...

Special Award Presented to John Simon at 2018 NJSC
The 2018 New Jersey Science Convention marked a milestone for the John Simon Instrument Company, 42 continuous years of participation in the Convention. John Simon has supported the Convention not only as a vendor but has each year generously provided the table centerpieces and also a top-quality microscope as a door prize to a Convention attendee. As a gesture of our appreciation, we have commissioned, appropriately, within the heavenly Constellation Microscopium, visible in the southern celestial hemisphere, a star bearing the name John Simon. Thank you John. We think the universe of you!

We ask you to help us bring this unique professional opportunity to science educators.
The connections we make with other science teachers, the shared ideas, creates excitement to bring back to your classroom and to excite students about science. |
