Celebrating 40 Years of Service to Science EducationOn behalf of the New Jersey Science Convention Steering Committee we welcome you to the 40th annual convention. We are delighted to provide a variety of sessions addressing K-12 science education. The convention has a history of providing science teachers in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania with professional development over the course of two days. Please join us for one or two days at the convention and for our Tuesday night banquet featuring Dr. David Gallo as a guest speaker. Translating the NJDOE Model Science Curriculum into Local High School and Middle School Curriculum Dissect a model science unit and discuss how its features can be used as a framework for local curriculum. Develop a deeper understanding of the curriculum development process and the resources that are available to help local writing teams. 5-8 & 9-12 NGSS, Hands-On Mike Heinz will also be presenting the following session on Wednesday 10/14.
